Doug has nearly 20 years of tax and financial service experience working with closely-held
business owners, business managers, corporate executives, retirees and high net
worth individuals (HNWI).

Doug’s broad background as a CPA gives him the distinctive ability to understand how tax and
financial issues affect one another. This advanced knowledge sets him apart from
conventional wealth advisors, in that he is able to help clients achieve their financial goals,
while keeping an eye on tax minimization, and formulating a plan that is practical and
achieves the desired outcomes.

Doug brings integrity and attention to detail to each client’s uniquely complex and
sophisticated needs. Building upon an extensive business advisory background, Doug is
focused on quality of service in all areas of private and business wealth management.

Through his work at both national and regional CPA firms, Doug acquired a robust client
management background in tax consulting, planning, compliance, and financial and
estate planning. This foundation of expertise served as his springboard into his particular
area of interest – with a drive and dedication to advise those with high wealth, high
income, and the emerging affluent.

Doug provides expert advice to help individuals and families achieve their goals and protect their assets.                      

His passion stems from his ability to provide clients with personalized solutions
based on their individual needs, and taking clients through a thought-provoking ‘process of
discovery.’ This individualized process incorporates planning for personal goals, retirement,
wealth preservation and enhancement, wealth transfer and estate planning.

Doug is a Certified Public Accountant and a FINRA Registered Representative with the Series
65 license. He attended Miami University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in
accounting and finance. He furthered his education at the University of Akron, where he
earned a Master of Taxation.

As Treasurer for Stonecreek Master Association and Akron Rotary Camp, Board of Directors
member for Mobile Meals Foundation, as well as a Trustee for Keep Akron Beautiful, Doug
places high value on involvement within his community.
