An energetic and active executive with over 30 years’ experience in accounting, including all levels of nonprofit and business organizations. Dave co-founded BCG & Company 25 years ago based upon the core principle with which he and the other founding partners shared: a commitment to delivering the quality of a national firm, with the personalized service of a local business. Dave and company have since directed, cultivated, and expanded BCG&Co. into a dynamic and growth-oriented, regional certified public accounting and consulting firm.
Currently, Dave is the managing director for the firm’s overall strategy and operations. His leadership in the industry has been recognized by the Ohio Society of CPA’s as one of the most influential CPA’s in the 100 year history of the society. His stewardship of the firm has resulted in the firm being consecutively named a NorthCoast 99 company – one of the best places to work in Northeast Ohio.
His passion began as a practice manager at regional and national accounting firms, following obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with concentrations in accounting from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and acquired a strong client service background in accounting and auditing, with an emphasis on management advisory services.

Dave is uniquely adept in business and industry consulting, with an emphasis on manufacturing/distribution and non-profits. He is also exceptionally experienced with financial projections, cash flow planning, financing, business management and strategic planning.

Past Chair of the OSCPA, past Trustee of the Ohio CPA/PAC, past member of Council of the AICPA, past member of Professional Ethics Executive Committee (PEEC), and a reviewer for the AICPA’s Practice Monitoring Program.
