Ray began his career as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) 20 years ago, and has since expanded his expertise beyond the traditional accounting field by earning specialized designations as an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA), Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and he is Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF). Ray holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Akron, where he graduated magna cum laude and received numerous honors.
As Director of the Forensic and Valuation Services Group, Ray manages and performs complex business valuations for purposes including mergers and acquisitions, bank financing, estate and gift tax planning, divorces, shareholder disputes and litigation matters.
Ray is remarkably adept at providing litigation support services, calculating business interruption claims, and consulting on fraud detection and forensic accounting services.
He has comprehensive experience working with various types of organizations - including manufacturing, wholesale and distribution, retail, services industries, non-profits and govermental agencies. Ray has been engaged as an expert by many of the area’s top law firms.

Ray’s expert representation for fraud and forensic accounting services is stellar, while his specialized fraud deterrence consulting to help organizations minimize employee misconduct has been invaluable.
He has been called upon by the Ohio Supreme Court to serve as an expert witness and is often asked to speak on local and national levels on the topic of fraud and forensics. Using cutting-edge fraud detection and control methods, Ray has become known as the area’s most reliable litigation support expert.
