Laura is a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional and serves on the Executive Committee for the Akron Canton Chapter of the Ohio Contractors Association.
Broad experience gained as a senior member of an international accounting firm. Combines a strong client services philosophy with tax planning expertise to develop practical money saving tax strategies for owners of closely held businesses.
Extensive knowledge in the areas of merger and acquisition, succession planning, ESOPs, estate planning and multi-state income and sales tax compliance and planning.
Industry specializations include construction, real estate, manufacturing, distribution and service companies.
Member of the Akron/Canton Chapter of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants OSCPA); the Tax Division of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA); the Akron Tax Club; the ESOP Association and the National Center for Employee Ownership.
Serves as Executive Committee member and 2nd Vice Chairperson of the Akron Area YMCA’s Board of Trustees and is Finance Committee Chair and a Trustee for the Akron Roundtable.
