Expertise.

Laura has worked at BCG&Co. since its inception – 25 years ago, following several years of broad experience as a senior member of an international accounting firm.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Business from Lafayette College, Easton, Pennsylvania, and a Master of Taxation degree from The University of Akron.

Laura is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP).  She demonstrates a strong commitment to superior client service, which is proven by our clients’ reliance on and request for her strong tax planning skills to help them save money.
     
Specialization.

Most notably, Laura leads the firm’s Construction and Real Estate Development Industry Practice Group with nearly 30 years of experience working with these industries.   She has extensive knowledge of the unique tax and financial issues contractors and developers face, and her clients appreciate her down-to-earth business advice.  Laura has expert knowledge in the areas of merger and acquisition, succession planning, retirement plans, especially ESOPs, estate planning and multi-state income and sales tax compliance and planning.

    Laura resides in Akron with her husband, Robert, and their two children.
