A current director with over 25 years of dedicated accounting expertise, Jim began his career after obtaining a Bachelors of Business Administration from Western Michigan University, where he graduated magna cum laude. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and certified in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Jim has worked at BCG&Co. since its inception – 25 years ago, following a two-year initiation into the accounting industry at another firm. He is especially proficient at providing clever and practical advice to clients for improving accounting and business operations.
Specialization.
As Director and Segment Leader of the Assurance Services group, Jim is a leader in managing the direction and growth of the segment. He has extensive experience with employee benefit plans and not-for-profit organizations.
His specialty is in the administration of audit, review and compilation engagements - including specialized engagements with international entities.
Jim possesses the in-depth International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) knowledge and application necessary for success in today’s global business world.
